What a great time~ A big thanks to the Du Page County Forest Preserve Rangers for teaching us Archery. All the girls had a great time and the parents & leaders as well. Molly actually hit a Bulls Eye...not bad for a beginner. I think I definitely see more archery lessons in our future. A big thanks to our parents Ms. Vargas and Mr. Meyer for driving and slinging a few arrows with us. I think we actually have created a archery fan in Mr. Meyer~ And as always thanks to our Leaders Mrs. Kanatas and Mrs.Coffey. I cant wait till camp to spent some more time on the archery fields. Our last thank you is to the Faust Family for sending the perfect snack to end our day~

Next meeting May 11th~ it is our last meeting before camp and our closing picnic so I hope that everyone can attend~

GOOD JOB GIRLS~

A whole bunch of information .04.10

Hope everyone had a great holiday. For us Brownies this means we are in the last stretch of our year but by no means does this mean that we slow down.

Out next meeting is April 13.th:  BUT with a change of location. We are asking that you drop off your Brownie at 3:25 in front of the Riverside Library and be ready for a hike, rain or shine.  Please make sure your Brownie has sturdy shoes, comfortable clothes and a rain poncho if it is needed.  You may pick up your Brownie at 4:30 in the same location. Quincy is in charge of our snack for the day

Permission slips for camp Butternut Springs will be available on the website as well as for the archery in Lombard .

The following meeting, April 27th . We will also be having a change of location. Our girls will get a PRE archery lesson (Free) at the Churchill Woods in Lombard. 4-5pm We will be leaving at 3:15 from the church parking lot. Your brownie will be returned to your door after the archery is over. Girls MUST bring their permission slips to be allowed to attend.

Churchill Woods Forest Preserve is near Rt 53 and St. Charles Road in Lombard. The entrance you are looking for is the farthest east entrance on the south side of St. Charles Rd.

Girls will need to have sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes and a rain poncho if needed.  We are looking for 3 additional parents to drive as well as work with the girls.  Unfortunately due to the nature of the activity, siblings are not allowed on this trip. Please call me if you are able to drive and help out. Lulu is in charge of our snack for the day.

In May our meeting will be May 11th at the Church 3:15.  Girls will meet a leader in front of the school and we will walk the girls over.  We will do our Pre camp prep meeting.

May 14th 7 p.m. is the parent meeting for camp.  Parents will receive a schedule and sign the travel waiver. As always, appetizers will be served.  J
