ITEM FORGOT TO ADD TO LIST


Saturday morning the girls asked for cereal……
So instead of bringing up a bunch of boxes each girl is responsible for bringing their favorite cereal in a zip lock.


These will be collected on their arrival so that no food is left in the tabins.

FOOD + BUGS AND ANIMALS + SLEEPING ARES= not good.

Looks like we might have a wet weekend girls…..
Clay pits just right for stomping and getting dirty.
Make sure to bring extra blankets for bundling up
Better to have too many than not enough.

Travel to I-80 and head west.
From I-80, west of Joliet, take exit 90 onto State Road 23.
At the end of the ramp, turn left, heading southbound towards Ottawa.
Travel approximately 3.5 miles, through Ottawa, and cross the Illinois River.
Approximately 0.75 miles past the Illinois River, turn left onto Gentleman Rd.
Camp Pokanoka will be ahead, on the left, approximately 1.75 miles down the road

Camp information June 3rd -5th

Camper may arrive 4 pm on the 3rd

•             1 Shower caddy/bag *shower is a distance from Tabins

•             2 Towel , Swim/Shower

•             1 wash cloth

•             1 bar soap/ body wash

•             1 small hand sanitizer

•             1 shampoo

•             1 conditioner

•             1 brush/comb

•             ? head bands hair rubber bands ( if needed)

•             1 toothbrush ( please bring a holder or a zip lock for this)

•             1 toothpaste/floss/mouthwash

•             Medicines: labeled in zip lock

•             sunscreen

•             bug spray



SUPPLIES AND TOOLS

•             Small lightweight backpack or fanny pack  ( vinyl with rope handles ok)

•             Hammer

•             Chisel

•             Eye protection goggles

•             Flashlight

•             extra batteries

•             duct tape... ( they have pretty colors at Home Depot)

•             Rope . min 10 ft

•             work gloves\

•             Fold up chair

•             sit upon: if you made one.

•             Mess kit , plate, bowl, cup, spoon knife, fork, dunking bag

•             water bottle



ENTERTAINMENT *things that are starred are optional

•             small painbrushes for craft

Disc Golf
Combining Frisbee and Golf with a new bunch  of rules….

While Mrs. Kanatas is teaching half of our Brownies the finer points in croquet… Mrs. Winkler will be review some of the older games… Hopscotch  &  Jacks, while some try their luck at Disc Golf. A real fun filled Meeting so don’t miss it!
Its suppose to rain in the am but not in the afternoon so dress appropriately…. Rain boots….?
