ITEM FORGOT TO ADD TO LIST
Saturday morning the girls asked for cereal……
So instead of bringing up a bunch of boxes each girl is responsible
for bringing their favorite cereal in a zip lock.
These will be collected on their arrival so that no food is
left in the tabins.
FOOD + BUGS AND ANIMALS + SLEEPING ARES= not good.

At the end of the ramp, turn left, heading southbound towards Ottawa.
Travel approximately 3.5 miles, through Ottawa, and cross the Illinois River.

GS Summer Camp Registration Begins March 1st
It is that time of year again... Camp registration begins March 1st
Below are the Sleepover Camps that will be available to our NEW JUNIOR scouts.
Last year both Lulu and Cami went to overnight and Cami and Claire went to Day Camp and if you have any questions I know that they would be happy to answer them.

cowgirls! Jump in your stagecoach and head to O’Hara Woods. Cowpoke campers
will work on prairie crafts, campfire songs, hiking, fishing, games, outdoor
cooking, and daily ranch challenges. On Friday, all cowgirls and ranch hands
will participate in a Girl Scout “rodeo” and gather ‘round for an old-fashioned
chuck wagon supper. Friday overnight camping option is available for girls
entering 4th grade and up in the fall.
Camp fee will include: a theme patch, progression patch, T-shirt, bandana,
1 lunch and 1 dinner.

tie knots, discover what to do in emergency situations. Dabble in outdoor

writing. Connect with the natural world with several hands-on activities.
General camp program, swimming and lots of fun will be a part of your week.

Shutterbugs
Are you a
camera bug? Grab your camera (35 mm) and get ready to explore the beauty of
camp. Take portraits of new friends, landscape shots, and document camp
activities. Pictures will be developed and complete a scrapbook page of their
camp memories. General camp program, swimming, games, and cookouts are included.
Activities from the “Camera Shots” badge will be worked on.Fee: $200

Traveler
Discover the
history surrounding Camp Juniper Knoll. Explore Old World Wisconsin, and
pioneer girl life. This two-week camp session will offer lots of time to
celebrate Girl Scout History and try activities from past badge books. Your
“travels” will include connecting with girls as you work on the New “It’s Your
Story” journey. There will be lots of
time to do the things you love about camp! Swimming, songs, campfires and more!
