Ames Brownies

AUGUST 18 2009, All Ames girl scout and family Zoo trip. 10 a.m.

We will gather for a informal zoo trip @ 10 a.m. meeting at the south gate. Scouts please be in uniform. Bring a sack lunch as we will be picnicing for lunch.

Scouts will be participating in the zoo world patch and activities. Zoo World Patch is a self-guided program that enables youth groups to earn a special Brookfield Zoo patch by completing a series of fun and educational activities. Each program book must be pre-ordered and is $3.50. Non scouts may participate in this as well and will also receive the patch.

Each requires up to an hour and a half to complete. The activities are self-guided, and are designed to be done as a group with your own leader and adult chaperons.

Families are responsible for transportation and enterance fees.
